Hi! I’m Aly
And if you stumbled on my page for some online hu$tles, mom life and some fun…I am so happy to have you here!
My name is Alyssa but you can call me Aly, your online hu$tle bestie. I say online, because that's where we meet, hu$tle with a $ because I am all about finding ways to make money and bestie because I am a down to earth creative mama who you can trust in like your bestie. I was born and raised on the island of Oahu in Hawai’i. Currently I live on the beautiful Big Island with my life partner, 2year old , and 5 Rottweilers. I gave my go at doing what my mother wanted, which is going to college for a high paying job which in her eyes made you the most successful person.
I am a creative soul with many passions. The thought of being my own boss came naturally to me, I have two side hu$tles and am always finding ways to make $$$ so I can continue to be a stay-at-home-mama.
Living in Hawai’i is expensive, but there is no other place I’d wanna raise my baby(ies-future😅). Having multiple side hustles helps 💯

Reasons to Start
Your Online Hu$tle

Cheers to my first blog entry! Went back and forth, continually overthinking the whole process, and ready to say screw it, let's do this shizz.
When I first found out I was going to be a mama, like most millennial moms I knew I did not want to work the 9-5 lifestyle. I wanted to be able to raise my child while working from home. Naturally I am a creative soul, so I knew I could make a few bucks selling stickers, shirts, and custom favors here and there. However I have so many interests that once I've tried it, I want to give my go at something new. I feel that if I know a little bit of a lot, I am valuable because I can do a lot. You'll learn about my lifestyle and maybe dip into some deep personal topics throughout my blog.
I just want to say, this may feel like this blog is geared to moms, but if you are a stay-at-home dad -- parent in general this blog is all for you!
Now back to the reason you even clicked this blog. I've done my research and compared it to my own reasons for wanting to work from home and no doubt I see the resemblance.You may be wondering if you can be successful at being a stay-at-home-parent; ensuring the house it maintained, everyone is fed, make a little side cash to help the fam, all while trying to heal and take care of your mental health, I am here to tell you YES you can! For mamas, postpartum can really make it hard to go back to normal life let alone try a go at a side hustle. And for dads, if going to work -- they have all the weight and stress to financially support the family. Which ever parent is staying home to raise their child is really going through the most challenging job of all. Figuring out when to discipline, popping off becuase you tried your go at gentle parenting on and on and it didn't work. For some reason yelling works, but then that slaps you in the face when in public and they don't get their way. Yelling and yelling.
Ooops there we go again off topic! Alright the five reasons why you should start your online hu$tle. And I say hu$tle, because one it is a lot of work -- you get out what you put in and secondly the whole reason for it is to make some money to support you and your family. Be financially free and live a life we've always manifested.
1. Flexibility
Who doesn't love the thought of clocking in when you want, working for how ever long you need to-- just to ensure your job gets done. Instead of getting up extra early to get ready and rush off, working from home allows you to take your time waking up, making yourself and family a delicious breakfast to start the day and use breaks from work to do chores around the house. I know that's what I do. I time block what I want to do and try my best to stick to it. When it's break time, it's cleaning time around the house, letting the dogs out to stretch their legs and spending time with my toddler.
2. Increased Productivity
With fewer distractions and interruptions, productivity is increased. Now for a stay-at-home parent the distraction and interruption can feel like 24hrs but if you plan out your day and give yourself goals, you will easily navigate through it all. For example, if your little takes a nap around a certain time-- try to plan what is top priority at that time to ensure productivity. Or on some days you can be like me and crash the F out because you breastfed/bottlefed the baby and yourself to sleep.
3. Improved Mental Health
Commuting and dealing with office politics can really take a toll on ones mental health. The pressure to fit in, fight traffic to and from, the cliques, the sneaky remarks, lol the list can go on. I hate to say it but every job setting deals with situations that can mess with your mental health-- most of it coming from our fellow colleagues. I personally never understood why people need to have cliques and feel the need to act as if an employee is lower than them because of their time spent with the company.
4. Cost + Time Savings
Every year it seems like the cost of living increases and the minimum wage is still the same. Working from home allows you to save money on gas, eating out for breakfast/lunch, work attire and much more. Not to mention the time you save and memories you can make while at home. For example for me as a stay-at-home mama whom works from online, I am able to work when I want and witness all the precious moments instead of allowing someone else to. I hate to sound greedy, but when it comes to time with my kid-- I am greedy. Don't get me wrong I still need mama time, but that is the beauty of working from home. I can drop her off to a friends for an hour or so, so I can get some self care.
5. Wide Range of Opportunities
Last but not least, for me... is the wide range of opportunities. Like I said I love to try to new things and find new ways to make money. It's 2023 and the digital space keeps growing and growing-- giving everyone an opportunity to start their online hu$tle.

Tools to help you start

So how is your online hu$tle journey going?! You are probably overwhelmed with all this new information regarding affiliate marketing and all the tools needed to get started. There are many programs and platforms accessible to everyone for all budgets.
As a beginner who didn't have much money to invest in marketing tools, I searched near and far for the easiest and best ways for me to start my Online Hu$tle, here's how I did it...
1. Affiliate Marketplace
If you used my free e-book, you know that one of the first steps to affiliate marketing is determining your niche. Once you know your niche you can start looking for programs to promote at NO COST. These are a few sites where you can sign up for free and find affiliate programs to promote.
- Click Bank is a global affiliate marketplace filled with resources to help you get started and be successful as a beginner affiliate marketer.
- Digistore24 is acceptable for newbies but probably better for the more advance marketer. This platform is an online sales platform that integrates affiliate network, online store and handles payments all in one.
2. Funnel creator
One of the keys to building your business is building an email list of your ideal audience so you can nurture them through emails and eventually gain their trust so they can purchase what it is you are selling. To do that you need a 2-page funnel that captures your audiences email. I learned all about how to build a funnel with the 15 day Online Business Builder Challenge, so if you went through it and still have questions reach out to me.
- Click Funnels is perfect for newbies. They offer a 14 day free trial before they start charging per month. A lot of successful affiliate marketers stand behind this system.
- Systeme.io has a FREE option for beginners and the system I started with and currently use. I can easily build a 2-page funnel with this system and set up automatic email campaigns. I definitely recommend using this system if you are a beginner. If you give this a try and still need help setting these up, shoot me an email.
3. Auto Email Response
Now that you have an email list, you want to nurture your audience and build trust. You can send them emails every day or every other day with valuable content. This is a great place to sell products you believe in as well. I'm not sure if you are aware but the contacts you have on your social medias can be gone in a day, so it's crucial to start building your own email list.
- Aweber is a an easy to use marketing resource center for fast success at a low cost. They also offer a FREE account with limitations, but still great to start with!
- Get Response is an affordable and easy online platform for all things email marketing from sending emails, growing your email list and automating communication. This platform offers a FREE plan as well to get you started.
4. App for Content
Once these three are set up now you can create content to drive traffic to your link. There are plenty of apps you can use some free and some paid. I have a creative background so I always worked with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. This program can be tricky for newbies, they offer a range of apps within Adobe Creative Cloud so if it is something you really want to get into I'd recommend giving it a try. They even have an app similar to Canva that helps the everyday user create quality content.
Canva is such a great program for newbies and they offer a pro version for more content. It can be used on any device and there are plenty of templates to get anyone started.

5. Free Advertising Source
Chances are you have a free advertising source in your phone already. Yup!
Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and the internet where you can make a blog like me. Platforms such as Instagram and TikTok have superb editing tools that they actually want you to use which favors the algorithm and helps with your content being seen.
If you have always wanted to start a YouTube, DO IT! Do not be afraid of what if, be afraid of not doing it and taking that chance on yourself. Your story is unique and you never know who you are relating to. As long as you be your authentic self, your audience will find you, trust you and support you.
Did you ever wonder how Pinterest works? You search a term, infinite finds are presented and chances are more than half of those articles include affiliate links. Setting up a business Pinterest is easier than you think.
The last option would be to start a blog. I was hesitant at first because I thought who would want to read what I have to say? I got over my fears and limiting beliefs because my intent to start a blog is to share my knowledge, my online hu$tle journey, and sprinkle a little real life.
I hope this helps you feel a little more confident that you can achieve success in this industry. Imma be real, your mind needs to be in the right place in all aspects and you much be committed and consistent. If you think you can't, then you won't. Watch what you say because you are telling the universe what you believe is true. Staying consistent can be hard at first but there are many tools you can use to help you organize your thoughts and succeed. I will always be completely be transparent with you. I won't ever BS or fluff things. Like I've mentioned before, I have had my go at running my own businesses that were great but consisted of ALOT of upfront costs and time focused on making things rather than making money and still having time for my family.
When I found the 15 day Online Business Builder Challenge, I was totally skeptical. There are so many programs out there, you really don't know who to believe. In this blog, I am going to share with you my exact experience and where I am currently at.
I had recently just celebrated my 33th birthday and I was squeezing my butthole at the thought of all my bills I am behind, that I need to pay by the 28th. I was worried that I wasn't going to be able to pay any of my bills so I went online searching for ways to make money online. I knew I didn't have any start up money to do something big so I had to find something reasonable but also legit.
I wanna say earlier in the week, I stumbled upon a mom on Instagram and then ventured to her TikTok, she could barely speak english but she was making so much money working from home using her phone and internet. I knew I had to learn more about this opportunity.
It was a regular day like any day, a Thursday in fact, February 26th and I had TWO days to figure out how I was going to pay my bills. I knew something had to change. I knew I could be just as successful as the girl I saw on Instagram and TikTok. I just needed the right direction. So I trusted her and I signed up for the challenge.
I was pumped and ready to start the challenge. I'm not going to lie, I was overwhelmed so I was very grateful to be meeting one-on-one with a real live person in the company. I don't know much online challenges or programs you pay to go through- offer that type of service, and for $7! I was so done being stuck in my situation that I wanted to ensure the time I spent with my advisor was undivided, so I booked my meetings at 3:30am. If you are so done stressing about money like me, a time like that wouldn't matter at all.
Within the challenge you are presented with an amazing opportunity to progress your education in this business model. I however, did not have the means at the time to make that purchase and had to pass on it. Bummer, but I used other resources such as their Facebook Community and Podcast- Wake Up Legendary to learn and study what other successful Legendary students have done and are doing to continue to be successful. If you are able to purchase their blueprints, which is about $2k, then I know you will get the BEST guidance and be the MOST successful at this. But if you are unable to make that purchase, you CAN STILL be the MOST successful at this, you just gotta put in the work. Regardless which road you take, you will be supported 100% by an amazing community. Once again, it just wasn't in my cards to make that purchase but that's okay because if you are serious about being an entrepreneur and being your own boss-- when things don't go the way you envisioned, you problem solve and make sh!t happen one way or another.
I'm pretty good at trial and error to figure things out and make them work, so I trusted in myself to FIGURE IT OUT. However, if you find yourself struggling with a step, do not hesitate to reach out to me or check out the Legendary Community once you are in.
It was March 28th, 2023 I posted my first content on a new account. I started a whole new account because of two reasons:
1. I didn't want to be judged my family and friends for starting another endeavor, trust me I had my share.
2. I wanted to find my audience and show that you can succeed when you start from zero following.
I looked at what other Legendary Marketers were doing and put my own twist to it. I created content that worked for me and at the same time represented me. As much as I could copy and paste a successful affiliate's approach, I would come off as fake and untrue. That is not me!
I have officially made a month of posting consistently and providing value where I can with my new account. I have grown it to 58 followers on Instagram and 35 on TikTok. I am not having the results of other affiliates in this program that are more successful but I will not let that discourage me from continuing the journey. I know that if I stay consistent and measure what works and what doesn't, I will soon be able to grow like the affiliates I listen to on Wake Up Legendary.
You are probably wondering okay, so what are you posting. Well I am posting tidbit facts of affiliate marketing while directing my viewers to the education I started with, a glimpse into my life, and money manifestations. At first I wanted to post a bunch of easy side hustles people can do, but then I came across another affiliate who mentioned she wouldn't share that type of information on her page because she hasn't personally done it and she truly believes in affiliate marketing and wants everyone to learn that. Her thoughts really resonated with me and I flipped my whole intention of my page. I solely want to base it on affiliate marketing, the program that helped me get started, and my journey.
